Hebrew Slang
Virtual Workshop

Exclusively for JEMS

Workshop Introduction

Even if you don’t speak a language, you can learn a few words that can be an entrance into the culture of the country where the language is spoken. While most language courses start with topics that are not especially useful in conversation, this little mini course with help you out with enough phrases and expressions to make you feel comfortable from the start. We will start by looking at three topics: collocation, idioms, and slang. We will look at them in English and then begin learning the most used examples in Hebrew. All the Hebrew will be transliterated so there is no need for you to be able to read Hebrew letters. It’s fun. It’s quirky. Let’s get together!
